Conversations with an Internet Con-Man!

The response came very quickly, and it was a HUGE email (nearly 3 pages). Below are the highlights.

My Dear Glenn,
Thank you very much for your kind and prompt response to my email. I am aware that this email may have come to you as a surprise...

my husband advised that we should try the internet. Our computer operator did this and got your email address and that of two others, however I decided to appraoch you for this very confidential project after fasting and prayers hoping that you will agree to have a cordial relationship with the family and not take advantage of our situation...

Meanwhile find attached a copy of our family group photograph to assure you that you are dealing with honest people. we expect you to send us yours if you have any available...

I must let you know that as far as this project arrangement is concerned, there is absolutely no risk involved...

As I may be closely watched by the government and my phone may be bugged , I must confess my inability in having a direct telephone conversation with you. I have because of this, asked my brother in-law Alh.Ibru Mustapha, to take care of any telephone communication with you on my behalf. His telephone number is 234 1 470 0842...

It is important that you should indicate in your reply where you would want the consignment to be airlifted to London,Brussels or Amstardam, as this will be included in the agreement with club 2000. Look forward to your prompt reply.

Truly yours,
Salatu

If I wasn't set at ease before, I had no excuse now, knowing that I was chosen after fasting and prayer. Even God wanted me to help these people. Also, I was assured several times that there was no risk. Wonderful. My favorite part, however, was the attached family photo, seen below:

I love this picture. He sends it with no explaination of who anyone is, but rather explains that this picture will assure me that I am dealing with honest people. Whoever these people are, I guess they look pretty honest in this photo. Dishonest people are usually photographed while rubbing their hands together maniacally, gritting their teeth, and with a giant poster in the backround containing the words "Evil Plot" and are generally seated on a pile of gold coins.
