Well, it happened. The Magic Goat buried treasure was found by a truely worthy modern day wannabe pirate who goes by the name Capn' Barry. Magic Goat has not yet determined if he is indeed a real Capn' and more importantly, if he is of any relation to Capn' Crunch.

Hidden beneath the gold dubloons inside the chest, were three special items which Capn' Barry correctly identified in this email:

- Smints, for that clean minty fresh breath we pirates pride ourselves on
For true pirate effect (and for the extra gear ye said ye might throw in) I donned the official pirate eye patch and head-covering bandana.

We salute the good Capn' for remembering his eyepatch. No self-respecting pirate has his photo taken without one. In a later, less pirate-y email he said:
By the way, one of the best parts of reaching the top was telling everyone
that I had a treasure to uncover on the backside of the shelter and watching
their faces go, "Huh??" when I got out the map and the eye patch. Everybody
in our group, as well as others on the summit, was pretty interested in what
I was doing and took note of your website once I opened up the container and
read the message.
Thanks for the added adventure of having a task to perform once I reached the summit. It made for a good mission, although with all the piratedom I was getting into I think I came back with scurvy.

Magic Goat feels that Capn' Barry has truly earned his place in the Magic Goat Hall of Pirates...which has yet to be formed. Congrats again to Barry. In addition to the wonderfull stuff in the treasure chest, he selected a Magic Goat hat as his reward item, and for donning an eyepatch, we threw in some magic goat extras. Three cheers for Capn' Barry. YAR!!!
