As I explained in the earlier treasure hunt, pirates are really cool. Sure, they kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot, but I just can't get over the great hats they get to wear. Those pirate hats strike fear into the hearts of anyone who is unfortunate enough to see them. Anyone wearing a pirate hat instantly becomes terrifying. For example...

I will have nightmares tonight because of this picture.

But enough about me, lets get to the treasure. A new Magic Goat buried treasure has been placed and is waiting for a modern day pirate to dig it up and claim all the riches that it holds.

Your first question is, of course, where is this treasure? And your next question is, does it contain a large quantity of pretzels? Sadly, I cannot divulge the contents, but I can point you in the right direction to discover it.

Seeing as how our last treasure was so quickly found by Capn' Barry, this one is placed in a slightly more remote location. This detailed global map will show you exactly where the new treasure is located.

For the less experienced treasure hunter who may need more detail, the treasure is currently located on the island of Antigua, one of the few Caribbean islands not mentioned in the Beach Boys 1988 hit "Kokomo". The island is located in the Lesser Antilles, south east of Cuba and north of Antarctica. It is recommend that you reach the island by boat or plane.




Once on Antigua, make your way past Mosquito Cove and Jolly Roger to the southwest corner of the island. Here you will find Darkwood Beach, which was named after the famous aviator and corporate mogul, Walter H. Beech. The Magic Goat treasure, like any self respecting treasure, is buried here, at Darkwood Beach.




While traveling along the road at the beach, you will come across a sign which reads, "REDUCE SPEED NOW". You will need to reduce your speed completely because the treasure is located directly at the base of this sign. For those pirates who are not so good with maps and directions, this sign is located at

61 deg. 53 min. 665 sec. West Longitude




At the base of the sign you will find a small hole with some rocks in it. Remove the rocks and enjoy your treasure!

As with the previous hunt, the first pirate to discover the treasure will not only get to keep the contents, but will also win an item of their choice from the Magic Goat online store. And as before, if you are wearing an eyepatch in the photos, I will throw in something extra. I will throw in double extra if you happen to also have a wooden leg.
